What was there before: a weather-beaten steel box and a newspaper tube on a tired wooden post. It sits at the curb through every season — it deserved better than disposable.
The brief was simple: build it once, build it to last. No wood to rot, no steel to rust.
The post is horizontal composite slats with the address numerals mounted proud of the face. The mailbox enclosure above is composite as well — the entire assembly is 100% composite construction.
Set in a river-rock bed at the curb. Clean geometry, tight tolerances, and an address you can read from the street. It looks intentional because every part of it was.
